What is Hyaluronic Acid?

The name may be tricky to say but the product is actually something that our body naturally produces. Over time, with age, our bodies produce less and less. Adding it to our serum, will naturally protect your skin’s water balance and maintain its moisture levels, aiding in the absorption of active ingredients and keeping your skin soft, supple and hydrated.  

Our serum contains Hyaluronic Acid, a mix of high and low molecular weight for optimal results. 

Low molecular weight penetrates deeper into the skin's structure, providing maximum hydration and rehydrating skin cells over time.

High molecular weight  delivers immediate intensive hydration to the surface layers of the skin for an instant smoothing and firming effect

What is B3 Niacinamide?

Also known as Nicotinamide, it’s one of the B group vitamins that are essential for cell health metabolism and anti-ageing. Some studies have also shown its ability to aid with evening out the skin tone and is useful in the management of problem skin. A study in 2000 concluded that using 2% niacinamide reduced the TEWL (Trans epidermal water loss) by 24% in just 4 weeks.

Another research study with 50 females using 5% Niacinamide twice daily, for 12 weeks showed significant improvement in fine lines, hyperpigmentation, texture and red blotchiness.

Are these active percentages we have enough?

With actives more is not necessarily better. These active percentages have been extensively researched and studied to be effective at these amounts, to provide great results without causing irritation or an unstable formula. 

Combined with Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid, this product will help strengthen your skin and improve your uneven skin tone. 

If you only have time to use one product, then we recommend you use our Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and Niacinamide. All of these ingredients have the same PH level and are gentle on your skin. They work very well together as a powerful antioxidant, leaving you with a healthier glowing complexion. 

Directions:

use 1-2 pumps after Cleansing on slightly DAMP skin. WHY? Ensuring skin is damp is incredibly important. Serums will help draw this moisture into the skin. If your skin is dry, you apply to dry skin (not damp) and in the colder seasons, there is less moisture for this to happen.

Follow with a moisturiser to help seal in the extra hydration.

Please allow 8-12 weeks with continued use to achieve desired outcome

With only a small amount required, this product lasts a few months. 

Note: We recommend using our Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid & Niacinamide Serum in the morning followed by our Advanced Night Serum at night. We recommend only using 2 highly active products at time.

**this serum includes humecants. By their nature, humecants are sticky materials. However they are amazing as they help draw moisture to the skin. We use Propanediol which is less sticky than glycerine. To get the best experience, add only a small amount to damp skin.

Best before: tested shelf life of 2 years however we recommend using this within 12 months of purchase

Eco-Conscious container return scheme

We use biodegradable packing material, tape and recyclable shipping boxes. 

Please ensure bottles and jars are recycled. Jars can also be returned to us for reuse as they can be thoroughly cleaned, santised and sterilised.

Tops, droppers, lids and pumps can be returned to us to be TERRACYCLED. We recommend sending when you have at least 10 to make it worthwhile. But of course, we will accept any amount. Please let us know when you've sent them so we can issue you with a store credit.
